Robert D. Murray Bio

Rob Murray is a highly skilled editor and producer, known for his exceptional storytelling and editing expertise. He began his career at Inside Edition, quickly establishing himself as a standout in the industry. His work on the investigative story Bird Strikes earned him a prestigious National Headliner Award. Over the years, Rob has edited a range of high-profile shows for networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX, VH1, and MTV, including MTV’s Room Raiders, ABC’s 20/20, and Nightline. He also had the opportunity to edit the premiere episodes of Fox News’ highly acclaimed War Stories, True TV’s Big Brian: The Fortune Seller, and Madonna’s Greatest TV Moments, among others. Rob co-founded JAM TV, a production company specializing in high-adrenaline, adventure-based programming and specials. In 2006, Rob became the Senior Staff Editor for the nationally syndicated entertainment show Extra, and later contributed to several ABC shows including The People’s List with Gerry O'Connell, What Would You Do?, Nightline, 2020 and True Crime Specials. In 2014, Rob helped launch Fuse News for the Fuse Network. Two years later, in 2016, he joined the team at Weinberger Media, where he contributed to the success of ID Discovery's longest-running true crime show, On the Case with Paula Zahn. With his unique editing style, efficiency, and knack for compelling storytelling, Rob continues to develop and create content for both traditional and digital platforms.
